deck the halls with LOTS of trees part 1

Well it is no secret to anyone that knows me I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! Everything about it i love the decorating the TREES the cold the cozyness, family, friends, parties and of course celebrating Jesus! i love snow too but it just does not snow here but maybe once a year and only at most a couple inches. oh how i love snow i grew up with it and wish that redding got feet and feet of it!

It is our family tradition to get a tree(s) the Saturday after thanksgiving. SO out we went to a local tree lot here in town.
Now i grew up in a charming mountian town where cutting down your tree was the norm. (We did go to the tree lot now and then but mainly cut it down.) But for some reason i just love the tree lot experience maybe it reminds me of all those hallmark movies were they go to a cute little lot and its always so well... hallmarky haha. You know what i mean? To be honest im also very picky and like my trees pretty close to perfect.
Anyways we loaded the kids up and must have walked around for a hour if not more looking for just the right trees. We normally get a silver tip but this year we wanted to get one noble fur, one silver tip and two mini trees for the kids rooms. the guys were so nice and gave us a deal for getting so many and threw in a 5th tree for cheap! I got SO excited knowing now i was going to get one tree for the living room, one for the office, one for the kitchen and one for each kid room.

judah with the boys room tree :)

they found a bunch of lady bugs too :) i didnt know they were out now.

next to the HUGE santa :)
(cruz was sleeping in the warm car hehe)

we fit the two huge ones on top of the van and two smaller ones in the back and one more in the front squished on the floor ;)

So we got home and unloaded the trees i spent all night putting lights on.

the kids did there trees with a little help :) and the next day we decorated them :)

heres isabellas tree

here is the boys tree so cute :) (i need a picture with them next to it still)

and the living room tree :) and of course the Grinch while we decorate! :)

 reach!

and with a 1 1/2 year old this is how decorating the tree went for him hehe pure temptation lol poor little guy

The only thing this house is missing is a fire place. so my ipad has a app that is streaming to my apple tv and making the crackle sound. haha i love it!!

(more of the house to come tomorrow)

Very inspiring! I grew up in a household with only one tree. That is all I have now. Although, we are treckking up to Santa Cruz on Monday to chop one down. I desire to have more trees. Maybe finances will allow!

Oh, I just LOVE all the trees!!! Ever since I saw a pottery barn Christmas catalog a few years ago with a "kitchen" Christmas tree, I knew I wanted more than one tree. They decorated it with plates and it was just adorable :o) So far only two trees, but our little house probably couldn't handle any more at this point.
I love that you have four kids and always take the time to do fun projects. Also your comment a little bit ago about your bedtime routine with your kids being so important to you has really inspired me to invest more during the last moments of the day with them. Thanks so much for sharing your time with us!!!
